America's youth just gets classier and classier with each new generation. Where we used to have the Lost Generation and the Greatest Generation, we now have Generation Perversion.
It seems everything these days originates on Twitter. The latest in a string of tasteless jokes was just jumpstarted on Twitter by a group of local teenagers. One student was recently suspended for unknown reasons, and a girl asked him if he had sex with another girl in the bathroom. To that he replied, "yes." It's unclear if they were joking or being serious, since this sort of incident has been known to occur at Bakersfield high schools.
Another rumor that did not start on Twitter but was fueled by it was that an apparent hot spot for sex in Bakersfield is a local park. There have been numerous accounts told and told again about several couples being seen having sex in either broad daylight or in the park's restrooms.
Twitter and other social media sites are corrupting America's youth. It enables them to act stupidly and irrationally with little to no consequences. They shamelessly display their addictions to marijuana, their sexual encounters, and much more on the Internet. Is this the generation we want to lead our country in just a few years? I don't think so.
